Let the knowledge and compassion of today allow us not to forget what we have lost, but prepare us to be able to prevent further loss from haunting our memories.
It can only be through peace, love, and understanding that we can communicate clearly what needs to be said so that weapons can be laid to rest and violence be a distant passing rememberance.
Let us stand together today in love, to give thanks for our chance to make a difference. Let us remember those whose memories have brought this chance to fruition.
